Details
H+ New, Twilly, Leaping Springs, 5 x 86 cm, 100% heavy silk twill.
Origin:
Inspired by the "Springs Springs" Leaping Springs scarf design:
This piece boldly reinterprets the classic "Springs" pattern. Designed by Philippe Ledoux in 1974, Dimitri Rybaltchenko, his great-nephew, is no stranger to the classic. This shared heritage inspired him to boldly reinterpret the scarf in a cubic form, creating a seamless, traditional nested effect, akin to a "mirror within a mirror." Now, all we have to do is reassemble the kaleidoscopic puzzle: Can you make out the intricate details of Napoleon II's carriage? All the decorative details of the carriage, including the bees, the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor, and the royal seal, are meticulously painted and are identical to the life-size carriage decorations preserved in Sch?nbrunn Palace.
